Pete and Rhet went to the annual Camp Meeting at House of Mercy Church on the Paiute Indian Reservation in Bishop CA on 9-8.  There was a hunger for God's touch as Pastors from Indian Reservations in the southwest gathered to praise, pray, and share a message of hope and healing.  We were so happy to connect up with our friends, Pastor Stan, Pastor Dave, Dale, Ellen, Shawn, Lori, Pastor Bruce and Kathy, Pastor Kenny, Debbie, and many others.

In the summer our friends on the southwest Indian Reservations hold tent church meetings, or Camp Meetings, as some folks call them.  They come from near and far, from many tribes and tongues to praise God and tell about what He has been doing in their lives.  It is a time of encouragement and renewal.  Several of the upcoming tent meetings are scheduled:  the 26th annual Eskey Family Camp Meeting is in June hosted by Pastor Kenny's church in Black Rock AZ, and another Camp Meeting is at Past...

Rhet and Pete were invited by Pastor Stan Summers to minister in the new House of Mercy Pentecostal Church in October 2009, and we had a wonderful time with our dear friends as we praised God together.  Pastor Stan sent a thank you saying, “We greatly appreciate the love and prayers you folks have given (us) since our first meeting…”.  WFR continues to support this church - please pray for them to grow and shine as a light to all the Indian Reservations.  To see pictures of our ...

WFR wants to thank you all for your partnership and your generous support of our mission outreach to the Native Americans on the Paiute Indian Reservation in Bishop CA.  In the fall of 2009, we partnered with Wings of Faith who bring food and supplies to many Indian Reservations in the southwest and in Mexico.  Dale Whinery, founder of WOF, flew into Bishop and dropped off goods we collected for the people on the Rez.  WFR raised money to help them build a much needed new Church.  Many indivi...
